A NMTC Community Charrette is an inclusive workshop, or series of workshops, in which various stakeholders and experts are brought together to address a particular regional or local issue or opportunity that has persisted and if resolved will result in economic growth.
The core purpose of the National Minority Technology Council (NMTC) is to help its members become more profitable and successful. The Minority Technology Industry is a vibrant, fast growing and viable business segment. The Minority Technology Industry’s combined annual revenue is estimated at over $100 Billion. Our belief is there is strength in numbers; when there is trust and collaboration.
We believe the solution exist within and we are purpose driven to make a difference by targeting skills based training, community building to increase awareness of the benefits of work, and the microprogram increase of entrepreneurial activity in our communities of need.
Our community engagement and improvement process brings a tangible methodology to measure the social impact of our community development efforts.
The National Minority Technology Council is engaged in community efforts that build both capacity and wealth. The soft launch of our Community Charrette website, www.communitycharrette.org will bring more clarity to community leaders who wish to engage NMTC in research.
